Brent L. Adams is Dusenberry Professor of Mechanical Engineering at BYU. From 1976-80 he was Senior Research Engineer for Babcock and Wilcox Company, and in1980 he served as a member of the National Clad and Duct Committee for the breeder reactor program at Hanford. Since then he has since been a professor of materials science at University of Florida and Carnegie Mellon University, and a professor of mechanical engineering at Yale University and Brigham Young University.
