How Do I Get Involved?

If you want to get involved with an experiential learning opportunity, follow these easy steps:

  1. IDENTIFY a few opportunities that look interesting and exciting to you, and reach out! Email a faculty member or stop by during office hours, and ask how you can participate. Join a team. Talk to your Faculty Advisor or to the Undergraduate Advisor. Visit the Kennedy Center website, or visit the actual Kennedy Center (HRCB).
  2. APPLY for a position in a lab or on a team. You will need to show that you understand what will be required of you and be able to commit for at least a semester.
  3. PARTICIPATE in any way you can. Work with a professor to complete a 497R project. Join a student association or join a competition team. Ask questions, and find answers. We are confident that you will benefit from and enjoy any experiential learning activity you can find.
