Biography
Andrew Ning joined the BYU Mechanical Engineering Department in 2014 and has a joint appointment with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. He leads the FLOW Lab where they develop optimization, deep learning, and aerodynamic simulation methods for large-scale design of wind energy and aircraft systems. He received his PhD and MS from Stanford University in Aeronautics and Astronautics, and his BS in Applied Physics from Brigham Young University.
